The TDP lamp is a far-infrared heating device whose emissions are said to accelerate the body’s own natural healing processes. Created in 1978 by Chinese inventor Mr. Gou Wenbin, the TDP lamp has been used for over three decades to successfully treat numerous medical conditions including: muscle pain, arthritis, soft tissue injuries, back pain, joint pain, migraine headaches, bursitis, sciatica, surgical recovery, and more.
The TDP lamp operates by heating a special metal plate coated with 33 trace elements known to be biologically necessary to human healing functions. When the plate is warmed by the heating element, it emits a far-infrared radiation that can be focused on any part of the body, typically at a distance of 12 – 18 inches. The far-infrared emission can penetrate up to three and a half inches and reduce inflammation, calm pain, improve micro-circulation, and balance metabolism.
Benefits of the TDP lamp radiation include dilating blood vessels and increasing blood flow and oxygen saturation; accelerating the decomposition of unstable cells; enhancing white blood cell function; increasing immune response; and stimulating the hypothalamus, which controls sleep, mood, pain, and blood pressure.
Since its invention in 1978, the TDP Lamp has been hailed a miracle for therapeutic medicine. In 1979 a TDP society was formed to create clinical studies of the TDP lamp and its effects. It consisted of 36 universities, 45 graduate schools, 41 research institutes, 250 hospitals and three thousand medical doctors and researchers. By 1985, over 30 million people had received treatment from the TDP lamp, and research confirmed that the mineral lamp had aided in the treatment of over 30 medical conditions. Today the TDP lamp has been accepted by the FDA as a radiant device used for temporary relief of chronic pain or arthritis.
The TDP mineral lamp is used around the world by acupuncturists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and other health care practitioners. A typical treatment session with the TDP lamp last 15 – 30 minutes, and can be performed once or twice a day. This treatment can continue for 7 – 10 days, longer if directed by a doctor. During treatment, the patient should feel warmth on their skin without a burning sensation. The skin temperature should never exceed 130 °F.
Using a TDP mineral lamp can greatly benefit people who suffer from muscle and joint stiffness, spasms, sprains or chronic arthritic muscle and joint pain. By helping the body’s own natural healing response, the mineral lamp can rejuvenate muscles, tendons, and soft tissue and speed the recovery process.
